2011 Steelhead plant

The stocking of steelhead was very successful in the Ocqueoc River at both the Pomranke Rd ( 10,250 fish ) and River mouth sites      ( 10,250 fish ) from the Thompson Hatchery .  Birds were not a concern and there was plenty of water with the recent rains to provide much cover for the fish.  At Pomranke Rd, the Hammond Bay Area Anglers provided one length (16 feet) of irrigation pipe that was needed in addition to the pipe on the truck.  The truck drivers were great to work with and we appreciate all the efforts raising and transporting the fish. Thank you to all the members that helped.
